Core Responsibilities

  • Resource management
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
  • Taking ownership of own workload and the initiative to handle multiple complex projects
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Strong communications skills required, engaging with clients on the project lifecycle and demonstration skills
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Lead meetings with client and internal teams to facilitate project completion
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

Core Skills

  • Strong educational background
  • Proven working experience in project management in the NHS a distinct advantage
  • Understanding and/or hands-on experience in software implementation an advantage
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Willing to travel and stay overnight as per business needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft productivity software specifically
  • MS Excel will be key to the role.
  • PMP / PRINCE II Practioner certification
  • NHS or healthcare experience an advantage
  • Supply chain / Inventory management experience an advantage
