At Genesis Automation in Healthcare, we’ve experienced a wonderful period of growth as the direct result of our Clinical Traceability solutions’ ability to increase efficiency, productivity and creating more time to care for our client’s clinical staff. To continue this trajectory, we’re searching for a highly qualified Operations Analyst/Manager to work closely with our Chief Operating Officer and Senior Management Team. From day one, the Operations/Analyst will have an immediate impact on our productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between departments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.

Objectives of this Role 

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives and tactical projects from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental leaders 
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, project management, and initiative implementation 
  • Analyze data, design, and execute on improvements, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them 
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Serve as liaison between staff, senior leaders, and COO, regarding operational initiatives, cross-functional projects, program management, project management, project proposals, and planning 
  • Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with COO and executives leading key tactical initiatives and special projects
  • Analyze data of in-place procedures to find ways to improve operations, evaluate operations procedures and processes, identify deficiencies and areas for improvement, execute change management plan 
  • Research market and industry trends and patterns, perform operations analysis for all technologies and projects, prepare detailed reports of workflow research and improvements, and compare processes with industry standards and best practices 
  • Serve as a project/initiative expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications 
  • Develop and facilitate Monthly Operating Reviews that are cross functional in nature, identify risks to the monthly key performance indicators, and develop mitigation strategies to each identified risk 
  • Conduct regular reviews of key performance indicators determine if the departments are tracking the most impactful metrics and filter out irrelevant data. (Confirm departmental and cross functional metrics are measuring the “right” data points) 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field (Preferred) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business, data management, operations research, or related field (required) 
  • 7+ years in a business management or project management role 
  • 3 years’ experience as an operations analyst, in an operation or research analyst role, or in a related position 
  • Able to analyze large, complex data sets using a variety of software and tools and translate results into better solutions 
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple cross-functional teams and departments 
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form 
  • Extremely versatile, strict attention to detail and dedicated to efficient productivity 
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives 
  • Comfortable with database administration skills and resources 
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently 
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player 
  • Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead 
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interaction with all levels of management

  • Experience with data analysis
